You can keep production
running smoothly by using the DS module, which streamlines throughput at the
saw by planning the off-stacking process. It gives you a list of pallet
requirements or a baseboard cutting list and minimizes the number of open
parts, ensuring finished items go to assembly as quickly as possible, and
keeping related items together.
|
|
|
You
define the size of any mechanized off-stacking stations and the module will
constrain cutting patterns to match, adapting to suit your factory and
storage facilities exactly so there are no bottlenecks.

A station report
provides information for loading pallets or baseboards to the off-stacking
area.
|
|
•
|
A
list of baseboards is calculated from the part sizes according to rules
which include oversize allowance, layout constraints and maximum stacking
height. These rules can be defined individually for each part if required.
The result is a baseboard cutting list ready for its own optimization.

A
destacking summary shows pattern by pattern on which pallet each part must
be placed.

A
picture shows the layout of parts on each pallet or baseboard. The use of
runners instead of pallets or baseboards is also managed.

The palletizing
data may be downloaded to automatic destacking equipment.

You
can obtain labels for pallets or stacks when used with the parts and labels
module.

The
destacking optimizer considers station sizes when allocating parts to
stations.
